The Importance of Self-Inquiry and Asking Worthwile Questions
What is required to create your dream life?
-You must define what you value in life first.
How do you determine what you value in life?
-You must ask yourself questions that excite you the most. You must ask yourself questions that you truly and dearly yearn answers for?
Ask yourself worthwhile questions. Only you may have the answers to the questions which you pose. The first step is to ask. An answer may pop up immediately, in the form of a thought, or the universe might answer your question in a way that is clear and understandable to you.
It is important to ask yourself the right questions. Most people ask themselves unworthy questions:
Why me? Why am I so broke? Why is everyone out to get me? Why does God hate me?
Or even worse, people may not even bother to ask themselves questions at all. Our ability as human beings to ask questions is what distinguishes us from the rest of the animal kingdom. If you don't ask yourself questions regularly, you are not utilizing your greatest asset as a human being, and are denying yourself from growing as a person.
What is my purpose in life? How can I help other people right now? Why should I do anything in life? What really matters most to me?What do I really value in life? How can I simplify my life so I can recapture my sanity? How can I use my mind as a tool, as opposed to submitting to it as a servant? How can I better myself, how can I be a better version of myself today than I was yesterday? Who am I on my most absolute level?
You'll find that true self-improvement and growth is initiated when you ask yourself questions.
Ask yourself: Is there more to life than my present circumstances and reality? The universe will respond to you.
Tony Robbins says that asking questions determine your state of being. We are human beings after all. Our state is everything. Asking questions conditions our subconscious mind to seek out the answers to these questions, while blocking out all the noise and distraction in our lives.
