- A baloon launcher
Baking homemade goods
- Chocolate peanutbutter cups for Father's Day
- Peach cobbler for....lunch!
Planting a garden and not actually killing it!
- Tomatoes
- Cucumbers
- Green beans
- Strawberries
- Carrots
Beautifying the house
- Painting the walls after patching a hole
- Pulling weeds with the kids
- Decorating a bed skirt for my daughter's room
It's been a very homemake-ey Summer! And I've actually enjoyed it. Is that weird?

Homemaking is one of the most underrated and under appreciated jobs today. The benefits are financial, physical, mental AND emotional.
What's weird is that more people don't know the joys you have experienced. Grats to you!

Not weird at all. All these activities provide the all-important balance our systems crave so much. No wonder you enjoy it :)
And spending quality time with the kids is ALWAYS a good thing, as is getting your hands dirty and being in touch with nature in the garden. Keep on enjoying it!
