Let's Be Honest: You Need Good Posture

If you want to take hold of opportunity in life, you must strive for good posture. Not the kind that your mother always bothered you about; although undoubtedly, sitting and standing up straight does have its benefits. Instead, regarding a theoretical posturing of yourself in order to have the ability to seek out and take hold of opportunity throughout your life.

No matter what goal you seek to accomplish, your ventures in life are dependent on how you set yourself up to receive opportunity. Numerous examples of this are easily found. For instance, if you wanted to get into college, however, did not take the time to get good grades, work hard, and build your resume to stand out, you will not be postured to receive the opportunity to attend a college when it is presented to you. There are numerous examples such as this one where you might find that opportunity can be fleeting.

Where does this leave you?

It has happened to many individuals that they find themselves living unremarkable and aimless lives; having never taken the time to intentionally posture themselves for any opportunity and finding they are doing work only to fulfill the aspirations of another.

It’s as your mother used to say, “If you can’t find something productive to do with your time, I can find some chores for you to do.” Adult life is a mirror of this trite phrase you heard from a parent during youth.

If you can’t find something productive to occupy your time and energy, someone else will be more than happy to take use of your time, efforts, and talents and use them to work towards their own enterprises.

In consideration of these things, take time to thoughtfully posture yourself. Think about what you want to accomplish, why you want to achieve that goal and evaluate how you are going enact your plans. Most importantly, continually re-evaluate your actions to make sure you are continually preparing and posturing yourself appropriately for your pursuits.

how to posture yourself for opportunities when they come your way and lead you towards living a life you are pleased with.

Let’s be honest, opportunity is fleeting; therefore, posture is of vital importance. Don’t wait for your desires and goals to one day be handed over to you; work towards achieving them today so you will be prepared for your future. Posture yourself for the life you want to live.
