Watch Collection Update - Rolex Pepsi vs Coke at Miami Design District

People ask me all the time which Rolex I like the most, Pepsi or Coke? On this watch collection update video, I share my two cents about the debate as I walk the streets of the Miami Design District.

Both the Pepsi and Coke are GMT Master II models from the Rolex brand (reference number 16710). They're obviously called Pepsi and Coke because of the dual color bezel combinations similar to the softdrinks: red and black bezel for the Coke model and red and blue for the Pepsi. There's also the blue and black Batman Edition as well (which I have previously reviewed).

As you probably already know, I am an active luxury watch collector and frequently change up the watches that I own. One timepiece that I had been meaning to add to my collection for quite some time is the Rolex Pepsi GMT.

I finally was able to get my hands on one at a very good price. This is the one that I review on the video.

By the way, the Rolex Pepsi that I purchased is the older version, not the new Jubilee band version, which has a different reference number 126710 BLRO and is going for above retail at around $20,000. I can tell you this much...I'm not paying $20,000 for a stainless Pepsi just because it sports a Jubilee band! On the new Pepsi model, I'm going to see what happens to the prices when the dust settles! In fact, I think that Rolex should have released a jubilee Coke version instead.

So now I have both a Coke and Pepsi GMT (both great investments in terms of value retention) in my watch collection. What do you think of my new edition and what other spot in South Florida would you want me to do my next review on?
