Traffic Accidents are very much real, be careful!!

I was going to write about a patient I attended to on Saturday but thinking about what I saw still sends shivers up my spine. So I'm just going to tell you this straight up.

Accidents happen, they happen everyday, hell they happen every minute. And because you've never been involved in one don't mean you are immune to them.

So please, when you drive or you are in a car, put on the seat belt.
A friend had an accident, nothing happened to him because he had his seat belt on. but from his description of what happened, anyone sitting at the back seat without a seat belt would either not have made it out alive or would have been critically injured. I was supposed to be in that car, but that's a story for another day. Use your seatbelts, even when you are at the back seat. See it's not just to avoid road safety corps or the police it is really for your own protection and safety.

When you drive do not fly. It's all fun and enjoyable till it's not. It's not just your life on the line, it's the life of everyother person on the road. Trust me You don't want to be taking care of someone's medical bills in this recession.
It is way better to arrive late, than never.
Don't text while driving, never drink while driving.

When on a bike, please tell your bike man to slow down... Gawd!! The number of motorcycle road traffic accidents I have seen in the last 3months is devastating.

Everyday I see Little kids, young men and women struggling for their lives either because a driver was too careless, a bike was overspeeding , they weren't careful crossing the road, or they were careless in their own driving.

Accidents are real, If there are road safety precautions you know, please adhere strongly to them, it just might be what saves your life one day.
