This scene-stealing costume from Cebu trumps competition for being extra

A rural themed diorama got the scene-stealing costume that trumps Sinulog Festival Queen Competition for being extra.

This massive Filipiniana gown became the parade's grand spectacle because of its splendidness. Her rice terraces-inspired costume wasn’t just an intricately beaded gown, but a dress done in the smallest of details depicting an elaborate scene of a countryside farm.

As seen, there were grassy moss that made the gown look pleasantly alluring. Along with it was the reminiscent of a thriving community living by the mountainside. There were also rice paddies carved into the mountain, a miniature native huts and coconut trees that was intermittently placed in the scene.

The gown may looked heavy, but this candidate carried it with grace while performing her Sinulog routine.
