The word TOO LATE is more painful if we translate it in tagalog "wala ng chance"

I was in 1st year High School when we first met. He is the bestfriend of my cousin, a not so close cousin, we became friends too. We often play basketball and table tennis.
Everytime he went to our subdivision he kept on teasing me that he liked me. I, a boyish (in action) girl 😅 doesn't care about him, because Im still 13 yrs old that time and he's 16, the gap is way too far po. I love singing especially every fiesta and Birthdays and thats the first reason why a "JOKE" became REAL (nainlove ka sa boses ko wahaha) pfttt... All the time I really thought it was just a joke.
When I graduated High school and trying to start a new beginning in college ("beginning" means to be more obedient than ever hahaha). He confessed and asked me if its okay for him to court?. At first I thought it was nothing but then he started chatting , he went to our place every weekend trying to prove it to me that he is not kidding. But still I ignored him to the max 😅😅😆
Not knowing that ONE DAY, I wonder where he is, why do I miss him? Why are you not coming over?
It was late in the evening, he brought someone, and introduced her to us (friends and cousins), it was his GIRLFRIEND not "girl FRIEND" 😢. I felt sad and I dont know why. A mixed emotion tho, I cant think of anything except of those moments that I wasted, the days, the chance and the opportunity to be with him FOREVER 😑. I chose my plans and goals. The plan of having him in fulfilling my goals. I WAS TOO LATE. No, not too late. I was dumb 😭. I was about to start what I planned but he is already ending it hahaha. I JUST WISH THAT HE'LL BE HAPPY WITH HIS 2 LOVELY GIRLS. Congratulations for your first baby girl 😣. GOD BLESS AND GOD SPEED ILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOU AS PART OF MY LIFE "AS A FRIEND".
Things in this world is not permanent. That's why we have the saying "strike when the iron is hot" hahahaha at kahit kailan hindi mauuna ang pagsisisi. well anyways hindi naman talaga ako nagsisisi eh, nanghihinayang HAHAHAHAHA joke. When its God's will then we just go with the flow 👆
