We did. Having made Sydney now though, the next thing is organising a meetup and handover for @rustle's next leg. Wherever he's off to next. The little adventurer that he is isn't content with just sitting around waiting

I understand all too well how @rustle feels @ratticus. Once the travel bug bites, you’ll take every opportunity to hit the road and explore. I’m very curious now and will have to check his feed to see what his plans are. 😊

I'm not sure he's managed to wrangle the keys to write any plans, but he does keep us up to date with resteeming his adventures written by other people at least.

The travel bug is certainly a problem when you have to balance the finances and time factors. I'd not have a home if I had the money to stay travelling.

@rustle obviously has a lot of friends and is happy to share his adventures. I must try and remember to keep in touch with him and learn more about the many places I haven’t travelled to yet.
Yes, @ratticus Time and finance (and a good companion like @rustle) are necessary commodities in order to enable those of us who love to travel. Fortunately, now that my husband and I are retired, we have the time. Money? 💰 There’s never enough but somehow we manage to budget so that we can get away at least once a year......otherwise we are very content with driving within a reasonable radius of Brisbane to do day trips and thankfully there is always something happening somewhere. 😊
