Are you human enough to understand this?

There are times in life when everyone needs a helping hand. It may be that your down on your luck or you simply need to hear a nice comment or feel a gentle interaction that gives you the strength to carry on. Every day many people suffer in many shapes and forms. As human beings it is our duty to care for our fellow man. Our modern world has prioritized tmaterial things so much that we have become numb to the plight of others. People are abused on a daily basis, but our concern is what the latest style might be or which famous person is dating whom or what the sixtieth car they bought is ... We as a human race have to wake up and concern ourselves to better this world ... People are being oppressed, tortured, suffering abuse of untold severity! Why care so much that the rich and famous have fifty million dollar mansions and care so little that lives worth so much more are being destroyed every day and in some cases smothered into oblivion. To be human is to have compassion and to loose that compassion negates a person to soulless individual who's only purpose is greed without consideration of the devestation in their path.
