I guess this stems from the act of positive thinking. Although I understand the need for positive thinking but it is also okay to know that verbal proclamation doesn't exactly change the present situation. "If only I" is not always a limiting statement I think it largely depends on usage. If for example a friend needs help and I don't have enough and I'm like if only I had more,it is a wishful thinking and not a limiting thinking. I want to believe it awakens my subconsciousness on the need to strive to earn more money so I could help should such situation arise again. What do you think?

yea you have a point there,but some people does this in a negative way,if only i have money can be intepreted in two different form either the person does not believe in himself and has given hope oe the person wants to do more,but am mainly speaking of those that thinks negative about themselves
