Teacher Should be like this ---My Perspective
What does a student expect from a teacher and how can the teacher meet those demands?
I have always been a respectful student for my teacher, but sometime I feel restless, uncomforted and irritated during class due to some points.
These points are:
- I dislike it when my esteemed professor give attention to eloquent students and ignores reserved ones despite the fact that they are not from the dull students.
- I dislike him when he reviles a fellow teacher before us.
- Those teachers who don’t practice what they say or preach; instead their deeds belie their words.
- I dislike the teacher who is very formal and strict as it remove frankness between teacher and students.
- Repetition of the same point again and again irritates me as well. A teacher should teach students according to their mental caliber.
- I dislike it when he assigns every co-curricular pursuit just to the monitor of my class. Many other students of class are more talented, responsible and capable then Class representative.
- When he rejects my views, saying that they are contrary to the majority opinion.
- A teacher should tell his students exactly what he expects from them. Such clear suggestions serve as incentives and a source of extrinsic motivation.
- I dislike him when he becomes a close fisted man in appreciating someone.
- I also like or dislike a teacher on the basis of his character.
- I dislike the professor who forgets that he himself was a student in past.
