Photographer portrays the process he had to face with his wife due to breast cancer

A photographer portrayed the process his girlfriend had to face due to the breast cancer she suffered. He did this by publishing a series on Reddit.

The objective of Angelo Merendino was "to humanize the face of cancer", explaining that his work "shows the challenge, the difficulty, the fear and the loneliness, but most importantly, it shows our love".

The artist said that "People are getting away from cancer every day, which I understand, but it's painful," adding that "Before Jen (her partner) and I faced this, I also had no idea what it was ", He told The Huffington Post.

The pleasant response of those who have visited the site where he uploaded his photos, have helped Merendino to cope with the loss of his wife, who died a year and a half ago. "It makes me feel like we did something positive about
