RE: WHAT TO DO WITH THE WASTE – Exploring Better Options for our Everyday Food Waste

Just love the permaculture ways to use stuff.
I think that Sepp Holzer even uses pigs to till soil for him. :-)
You probably heard about him, or maybe about Masanobu Fukuoka, or even both.

At some point me and some of my friends thinking about making something like a wiki to share permaculture related diy stuff, with expert advice, but it never materialized. Your blog is probably closest to that that I've seen so far in the wild.

Thanks @xanoxt. I have heard of using pigs for tilling, from Joel Salatin, I think. We'll have to get some more soon because we ate our last ones. The next ones will be the beginning of a breeding and eating process, so that'll have long-term returns on the initial investment.

We also have this guy from Ukraine, who somewhere in the middle of 2000s moved to the remote village to be ok in case something like what is happening did, and has really jice texts about his experience, but they are in Russian.

Also, did you start an aquaponics yet? It is really cool, and sort of closed system. A lot of videos about that are on youtube, I think.

Not yet. On the list, which seems to get longer every time that I cross something off of it...
