Life's not black and white
From birth, our parents give us knowledge. From birth, our character is shaped by all the experiences we've had. And since we were born, we were taught to judge whether something is good or bad. We were never told about the in betweens.
Society has instilled many things, both passively and directly. They told us that we have to go to school, that we have to study, that we have to be respectful, we should not smoke, we should not drink, we can not get tattoos, we can not commit crimes, and they made it clear that they see with different eyes homosexuals and those who do not share the same ideals.
Whether by nature or because human societies work that way, what is good and what is bad is decided by "common sense". If most believe that tattoos make a person less qualified for a job, that automatically becomes common sense. If most believe that graduating from college is the only way to consider someone as a cultured person, that becomes our common sense.
When this common sense is established, very few people can see beyond that.
There are many who do not even consider the opinions or beliefs of others. Just because they have the illusion that, the common sense that has been instilled since they were born, is some kind of "101: how to live."
Have you ever heard anything about that person who does not have the same beliefs or ideals as yours or have you seen some news about that political party that with all your soul you hate simply because "common sense"; without even researching on your own deeper about them?
I did not write this post to defend some political party, nor to defend some horrible crime in our history so warlike, much less came to tell you to put on an aluminum hat because of the Illuminates control society.
This short post I did so that the next time you see something or someone you do not like, it bothers you or you simply dislike it; Think beyond what your senses tell you
I've judged beliefs and positions, just because other people have told me that I should. Without even having the curiosity to ask myself "Alright, will this really be how these people paint it for me?"
Search, investigate and create your own opinion. Do not get carried away by the tide.
P.S. Hey guys, how you've been? This is my first post without any sense of humor on it. I hope, the enormous quantity of readers that I have, wasn't disappointed by this. Recently I realize that I was completely wrong about something and decided to try to share the pseudo-epiphany that I had.
I took the images from Pixaybay, but I lost the links. My bad ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯
I totally agree with your post thanks a lot for sharing and keep on posting ;)
