MyEtherWallet, one of the popular wallets for Ethereum and ERC20-tokens announced the release of a new function. Now users will be able to buy ETH using Visa or MasterCard.
It’s known that Simplex platform is used for cryptocurrency trading. One of its advantages is artificial intelligence and cutting edge algorithms for fraud prevention. If illegal action is detected then Simplex is going to deal with it not MyEtherWallet.
We also note that the user need to be verified of he wants to use a card for purchases. Another important note is that the bank that issued a card needs to allow all cryptocurrency transactions because most of the banks currently prohibit it.
Users shouldn’t forget that MyEtherWallet popularity makes it very attractive for hackers. Recently VPN plugin Hola users were attacked. Earlier this wallet announced that its DNS servers were hacked as well.
