Why Do We Create Our Own Stress?
We look at stress in ourselves and others as a very important part of our experience and our survival. For us, stress is literally a matter of life or death. Yet in the real world, the purpose of stress is generally forgotten. When people are in a dangerous situation, especially in physical combat, it is often reasonable to expect some degree of a high level of stress. Likewise, people in jobs that expose them to extreme danger are also likely to experience some form of stress. For instance, we generally expect, at least to some degree, to be at stressful situation at jobs.
These self-imposed stressors are some of the most common things that we fail to take into consideration when we need to calm down. The sort of thing that would normally help to break the tension is not even mentioned. Instead we are able to build that tension up more quickly.
Some people are simply busy. They really don't have time to listen to their mind. When we put others on hold, then when we make an appointment or meet someone, we are directly in their path. A situation in which a conflict arises is a huge liability. You will most likely be blamed for your poor mood. Sometimes, it's not just you; we can be the first to call on someone's expertise, knowledge or even health, and for
Stress is not an organic experience. It is created by circumstances, and the only way to deal with stress is to change those circumstances. Often times, what seems to be a straightforward change can bring with it a stress-causing shift in how the person perceives the situation. This also has the potential to open a whole new door for us to create an entirely new relationship in which we can all work together. That is why mindfulness and yoga are such powerful tools for stress management, as they focus on the present moment and deliver a relief.
Simply put, you are stressing about the little things more than the bigger picture. You are putting it all on the line for something or someone you don't even care about. We all want it all, and all those little things add up to a greater cause. When you start feeling scared and insecure, realize that it is your body telling you something. Remember it is you who you are and what makes you you. And what makes you want to feel scared?
Exercise is good for us. It is a stress reducer. It actually has proven to be one of the best treatments for heart disease and other chronic illnesses. There are many ways you can exercise, like doing the aerobics at the gym and surfing anything physical. Just be careful that you're not simply pushing your limits too far, which can be very uncomfortable and lead to injury.
I'm not claiming that you can't be unhappy. I'm just suggesting that your perception of things has not been the result of your thinking. You're either in a location where you have a choice and a reason to make happiness a priority, or you're not. But we can improve your thought processes to an extent. If you don't want to be stressed in business, I can guarantee you that it will be much easier for you to stop being stressed. The same can be done for every aspect of your life
