I agree, 10,000 hours to get good at something. Thing is, you really need to schedule your priorities to hit that goal. There's only 24 hours in a day, and given you need to eat, sleep, buy food...etc, where is the time to practice for your goal unless you live an unbalanced life where your sole focus is that goal. Hmmm....that is why life is hard and most people are just mediocre at what they do. The ones that are good have devoted so much time in their field, now they lack balance in their lives.
True, i guess one of the hardest things in life is to make the right choices early in life, like people who knew that they are going to become doctors since they were little, i always admired that, but then again everyone is different and life is a journey and everyone takes a different path, thanks for your reply.
