The Alluring Opposition
Have you ever made a better suggestion in a meeting where you like ideas than someone is against you? Or in a heated debate? Was it exciting for you or are you being deaf to your voice?
There was a famous story about a group of frogs traveling through the woods, two of them fell into a deep pit. The other frogs crowded around the pit and saw how deep it was. They told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them. The other one gave up and died. But, a crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and said to die. He jumped as hard as he could and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, “Did you not hear us?” The deaf frog thought was cheering him up by the frogs above and encouraging him the entire time. Funny right? But the key is to be deaf and keep going.
The group of frogs may be like the people around us with an amplifier. There was a voice that kept whispering. Even if you are miles away from an old you, keep hearing and reverberating. Those are the naysayers around defining feast eyes on you and waiting to fall into a deep pit. Are you not aware that there were criticisms of others against you? Should I say intimidate you? Have you ever thought that way? Or am I the only one? It sounds absurd, right! When push comes to shove, all the discouragements, vexation, and angst. It is nigh on impossible to contemplate things about yourself. There was a zeal of lurking audacity deep within you. And it is far and beyond your acumen in the things around by yourself alone. The question is, what hinders you?
REALITY: There is the real opposition. In a nutshell, the opposition is someone of something against or a resistance. You usually hear it in politics or in our daily lives that you might not be aware of. Every time you go forward, there will be opposition, even yourself. Don’t be afraid of criticism; the tallest trees are always confronted by the strongest winds.” The oppositions were not always people, but an opportunity for something big ahead of you. God’s chosen people faced significant opposition, be ready.
RESISTANCE: Either or the people's external circumstances - it is your negative attitude. Yes, a negative sentiment that is innate to us humans. We are not like a person waking up in the morning saying, "Oh what a wonderful day! I am positive today—not." Your thwarted thoughts prevent progressing, do a pause. We did war prayers and impartations, but why does He seem delayed? Have you not learned the act of waiting is the right attitude? While you wait, be the best where you are. An unanswered prayer, he is setting you off to change. That change means shaping your gleam. Knowing this makes the queued, resistant, or hinders extraordinary blessings.
REALM: The beauty of having an opposition is a validation of achieving your goals. People take you into their shade, do not take their bait. The invalidated opposition they had thrown you shines you even brighter. They may snatch it and block it for you but remember that God is for you, who can be against you. What God has named on it for you can not go to anyone but yours alone. The fact that they are to discourage you is the manifestation that is about to level your destiny. You have to have diligence, patience, and perseverance. God has something for you that is irrevocable indeed.
