Hamilton Island Introduction

Hello Everyone! :)

I think it’s time to put together a few words and make some nice article about Hamilton Island. A Beautiful Island in Whitsunday region. It is located in front of Airlie Beach, 2hrs north from Mackay adn 3 hours south of Townsville and just next to the most beautiful beach in Australia and top 5 best in the world: Whitehaven beach!

Quick google search says:

“Hamilton Island is one of the Whitsunday Islands in Queensland, Australia, close to the Great Barrier Reef. Most of the car-free island is covered in bushland, and the coast is fringed by coral reefs. Tours offer up-close sightings of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and kookaburras. Trails lead up to Passage Peak in the east, with views of the surrounding islands.”

But how it looks from the inside?

You arrive to the island in a plane or by ferry. Both provides breathtaking views!

If you choose to come on a boat you can start your adventure from the Port of Airlie or Shute Harbour and the trip last for about an hour and a half.

Arriving to the island, the first thing you see is a beautiful entrance, framed by two arms covered with palm trees, with the Yacht Club located on the left one. Next there is marina, full of beautiful yachts and then you reach your destination.

Second option you can take is by a plane. Picture you can see through your window is definietly the best businness card of this place you can think about

I was lucky enough to expirence both of them. Trip from Sydney, Melbourne or Cairns takes avarage of 2.5-3hrs. last 20-30 min is mostly starring at this piece of art we have been given by nature!

If you have booked your holidays at one of hotels, your shofeur is probably already waiting for you. Isn’t it how the life should looks like? ;)

After you check in into your hotel, pick a key to your rented villa you can now explore the island.
