Boot Dal Photography

Boot dal is a well-known type of lentil, but in our country, this dal is mostly used during events or at feasts. It is also commonly served in hotels, either with paratha or rice. These are the two places where it is most frequently used—hotels and at feasts. This dal is available in the market at various local shops. It tastes quite good, though it is usually consumed in smaller quantities at home.

However, it is quite popular at feasts. In hotels, it is cooked daily to be eaten with paratha or puri. During the cold days, this dal is also used to make chotpoti and sold. During cold weather, this dal is in high demand because it is made into chotpoti and sold with eggs. When we went to the market to buy some groceries, we saw this boot dal, and I took a few pictures, which I am sharing with you.
