Every human has a need for something including you. Needs are important to livelihood because when gotten, they make living comfortable. They are necessary for survival. However the needs of human-being are numerous from safety to good health. But certain needs are of utmost importance to living; hence they are referred as basic needs.

Basic needs are needs which serve as foundation and basis for other needs. They are requirement for a decent standard of living. They are of utmost important any time. Without them, man can’t survive. They might also include essential service at certain time such as medical service for a life threatening situation.

Traditionally, basic needs are food, shelter and clothing but modern approach shows it include sanitation, education and health-care. Several modern explanations on basic needs exist such as International Labour Organization basic approach which focuses on measurement of absolute poverty and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

However, looking at all these needs traditionally and modernly they all come from a great need- HUMAN BEING itself. Human beings are responsible for supplying all these needs to their fellow human.

Farmers (humans) cultivate plants and rear animals which are foods to human, craftsmen/carpenter/engineer build structures for living which serves as shelter and early women’s who specialized in silk making/ tailors/designers producing cloth to meet the clothing need. The basic needs have always been from humans through humans to humans. Even the love/belonging needs, safety and self-actualization needs as described by Maslow has humans contributing a large part in supplying them. So, HUMANS are the basic need you need in life.

Humans are gift from God to humans

Humans as a social animal can’t exist alone. No matter how great you are in life, you will have interacted with a human, interacting with a human and will still interact with humans. Several men have played a part in your success. Also the things you have purchased as well as job has been through a men whether inviting you here on steemit or source of connection for jobs. Everything you have learn't through books, Internet, tutorials and educational organization has been from men. You will agree with me, humans are the basic needs of themselves. Even here on steemit, interaction and relationship is necessary. Every project and posts you created are to add value to other people on the community.

We exist for each other

Why you need humans

• They can be source of happiness and joy to you: We all have that special person/those special people who have always make us happy in life. Even here on steemit certain people are source of joy and happiness to others through there posts, comments and projects.

• They are source of love: Through friends, families and life partners

• Source of essential services such as education, health, security in the form of jobs and occupations.

• They provide a sense of belonging to others: Peer groups are the best explanation of this. Steemit here has provided a sense of belong to certain people. Depressed people, heartbroken people have found refuge, comfort, solutions and happiness which have been through humans including you.

• They are source of motivation and inspiration: Several great men have attached there greatness to inspiration from a fellow human. Others have also thanked some men for motivating them through difficult and hard times of life.

• Source of solutions to problems through advice and other means.

• They are source of great ideas to advance your life, business and the world: Behind every advancing business, project and campaign are humans with great ideas. All the advancement the world has experience has been pioneered by a man.

Although humans may possess certain bat attitudes but inside every man is a good side. The issue is we focus on the bad side thus missing on the good attributes and value the person can add to us. In one of @stellabelle post months ago, I see her trying to reach to a steemian who always flagged her post despite his terrible deeds. That is what we should do. Reach out to them. So many people are depressed or discouraged because they have ignored certain people in their life. Save them.

Learn to appreciate every man that has come into your life, they are gift to you. Keep interacting with people and keep adding value to them. Look at their positive side but don’t let them look down on you.
