I Think Mischievous Thoughts A Lot. Perhaps You Do Too.

I think mischievous thoughts a lot. Perhaps you do too.

Like when the lady at the bus park at Obalende that loads to Ketu asked me where the Ketu bus was. She had only just arrived at the park. While I had seen the last bus leave, and was also waiting for the next bus loading to Ketu to arrive. I simply told her that another bus was on the way. But right now, I feel I could have mischievously said, 'the bus has left'. She probably would've worried over the fact that the bus had gone and she'd have to take a complicated, time consuming and money sapping route to get home.

Apart from just thinking about them, sometimes I actually act on them.

Like the time when I was much younger, about a decade before now, when my sister and I decided to punish our step sister who was older than we were. We spat into her eyedrop and sprayed perfume into the content.
This was the most mischievous (and wicked) thought I had ever acted upon.

Sometimes, I think of walking up to my lecturer who has bored us with a long lecture and saying, "Mr X, your class was very interesting. And I hope indeed you understand sarcasm".
Then walking away without looking back.

But you all know that's impossible. I'm too much of a non-risk taker to even carry out such thoughts. I can't risk the singling out for bad behaviour, the threat on my result, a likely case with the student disciplinary committee and probably expulsion. (Okay. This is me blowing the repercussion beyond proportion).

I like to think that mischievous thoughts are fun as opposed to the 'evil' they are tagged with.

Like don't they make you tickle just thinking about them. Imagine just simply putting them to action. That's even more hilarious!

Maybe I've allowed too much 'Aki and pawpaw' influence me. Those dwarf twins in Nigerian movies always up to some mischievous acts. They made me laugh a lot during childhood.

Maybe I've let them colour my mind. Maybe I've done wrong to think them and even act on them. Here's my story on mischievous thoughts. Don't be like me in translating your mischievous thoughts into actions.
