Ural fighters clashed in the tournament on MMA in Ugra

In Ugra on March 3 and 4, the MMA fights took place tournament "Ugra Cup" in mixed martial arts. Athletes from seven regions, including athletes from Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Perm and KhMAO met in the center of physical culture and sports "Pearl of Yugra". In nine matches, world and European champions in taekwondo, holders of the World Cup in combat sambo, prize-winners.

The first to enter the arena was a pair of fighters in a lightweight 61 kg - silver medalist of Russia in the Viet-Va-Dau, suriginist Robert Latypov, and Gasan Mamedov from Chelyabinsk, a multiple winner of MMA tournaments. The latter won a convincing victory in the fight. Representative of the Republic of Dagestan Shihamad Batyrkhanov defeated the master of sports in the Greco-Roman wrestling from Chelyabinsk Sergei Ermakov. A vivid confrontation of the tournament was a duel in the weight of 70 kg Egor Lavr from Khanty-Mansiysk and Sergei Yakovlev from Cheboksary. The winner of the struggle, which lasted three rounds, was the representative of Chuvashia. In the battle of the next pair of 77 kg in weight on the basis of two rounds of the referee awarded the victory to Vladimir Migovich from Chelyabinsk, who beat Grigory Maltsev from Perm. Also the winners were Bagautdin Magomedov from Makhachkala (77 kg), fighters from Chelyabinsk Ilya Ilyin (77 kg) and Yuri Fedorov (93 kg).
