Proverbs are wonderful and complex things. They appear to be time-tried pieces of shrewdness which have been gone down through the ages. At the point when a saying is offered as a clarification, heads nod and it is acknowledged without any discussion. However, what doesn't enter anybody's thoughts is that if the correct inverse occasion had happened, a contrary saying would be presented, heads would nod, and it would be acknowledged without any discussion.
There is a saying to suit every situation and that probably is the reason why the proverbial wisdom contradicts each other.

Here are some more contradictory proverbs that might give you a hard time while using in real life situations and am sure you might have heard these one time or the other.

Contradictory Proverb	Situation
	My crush was drunk when she said she loves me. It better be In vino, veritas
	These are the Holy Bible verses that are completely incompatible!
	Please make up your mind. We can digest either!
	I have used "two is a company .." proverb once at a very wrong time :P Have you?

Next time you find yourself agreeing with a proverb, stop and think of its opposite. Maybe this struggle to find the contradictory proverb will stimulate the insight to help you make a better decision.
