The metaphor of 'The Matrix'

Everyday we take a coffee to go, do our job, meet friends, and watch tv shows we never really liked. We're running from one place to another just to make sure everybody is satisfied from a picture we want them to see.

We try to exist in this world. In a fast world where everything has a sense. And an aim.
The pleasure of buying stuff we don't really need, keeps us alive, keeps this thing valuable.
We buy avocados to put on our toast to lean back on our balcony and watch the sky to feel a little bit more happy.

Anything we do serves the community. It serves the system. We are in the system and it welcomes us. It gives us feedback, we're doing the right thing. Join the system, be free. Be part of the free world. The real world. Make your job.

Do you want to stay in the Matrix?

Lets call this system known as society ‘Matrix’.

The Matrix is well-conceived and you usually won’t want to leave the Matrix. The Matrix serves you, gives you the fruits of life like laying at the beach with your smartphone posting your vegetables on Instagram. You can taste the Matrix. It will give you the opportunity to taste the best rump steak you’ve ever seen. It will even give you your loved pineapple spinach smoothie, for sure!

So the Matrix is basically showing you so called good things. But are these things really ‘good’? Is it a good thing living in a society which is built? A system that is taking you’re power to serve as a mechanical part in the form of charging taxes? A system that is built to make you follow people that are doing good things on first sight just to make sure you’re following the will of you’re makers?

Is a system that is showing you what to believe and what to follow a good idea? Could the system have a failure and the blogging dude from Australia saying that you have to follow your dreams is talking shit and you’re stuck in a fucking 100 square ft. appartment?

Maybe there are more important things than having followers on Instagram, maybe there is a more important thing than donating 5 dollars to a NGO. Maybe the ideological driven matrix where you’re supposed to dream but not to think about things is keeping you away from questions that are really important?

Exposing the agents

The most functional and best working part of The Matrix is the self control mechanism: The agents. You’ll meet agents that keep you on track frequently. Just look out for them. And if you meet one, run! Here’s a brief overview how to expose an agent:

• They will definitely try to “inspire” you by questioning your lifestyle while promoting theirs
• If you’re talking to people which left the system, you’re considered as an enemy
• They will not allow you to criticize the system
• They’re absolutely sure that they’re right as they basically are the system

As I said: If you find them, run! They will group up and they will get you sucked into the system. That is how it works, they’re just too many to fight alone!

Finding your Neo

Everyone got this one weird guy in their circle of friends. It’s the one abusing pot, you know him. The one that fails on every school test while being intelligent enough to tamper his parents signings on 3rd grade.

This one guy you see on class and always think about what the fuck he is planning or doing. The one who can’t handle to show up on schedule and is not bothered by it.
The guy who always got a question but you never really know what he wants to know.
This one guy who looks awful and still manages to get one of the hottest girls on your grade.

For the female version of this person this poorly doesn’t come true. The female version is the exact same one but will never get a boyfriend at puberty age. Men are really afraid of the female version for some reason.

So: Talk to your Neo. You can find you’re Neo everywhere. Some of you got their Neo around them for their whole life, others find Neo sitting at the train station asking them for a dollar. Neo has many faces and you have to keep your eyes open. He will tell his story, he will tell his point of view and you will know that it’s him.

All you have to do from that moment on is to trust in Neo and spread the wisdom he can tell you. The wisdom of life. That life is not about your wealth. Not about your posts about sad terrorism. It’s not about being successful in a career. Not at all it is about that.
Neo will tell you about being. About finding your roots and let them thrive. He will tell you about the world without the Matrix. And how you can achieve total independence from what you’re told is the right thing. He will tell you how to leave the Matrix and fulfilling your true purpose. Spreading the knowledge of what Neo tells you will make the world a better place without having to insult anyone who thinks different than you.

From that point you will focus on getting your own people out of the Matrix. And that is your only purpose because our Neos will do the rest. Trust in the one who will introduce each different circle of people into the real world. You will have to say good bye to the good taste of a steak because you will not be accepted by the system but it's worth it, right? Use your impact on your direct environment instead of putting your energy into a dream world where you follow the agents. You have to get your people free!
