Armor of Elohim Part 8 - Pray
Pray.
Ask for help from the One who can truly help you, your Heavenly Father. He’s given you the tools to defend against the enemy. Now ask for help. We do not have to try to fight all alone with the enemy.
There are many examples in Scripture of our forefathers praying and asking for help and guidance. Moses prayed to spare the people of Israel. King David prayed many times for help. Hezekiah asked for guidance for decisions when threatened. Jonah prayed in the belly of a fish for deliverance. Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah prayed in a furnace of fire. Daniel, known for his prayers, did not cease when threatened. King Darius prayed for Daniel in the den of lions. Yeshua (Jesus) prayed constantly, including the night before his crucifixion. The disciples prayed for boldness to continue to preach Truth and work miracles, in spite of their persecution.
We want our Heavenly Father to build His Kingdom here as He has in Heaven, so we must obey Him as His creation also obeys. He will do His will. We pray that we may be doing His will as well, or else we will be contrary to Him, and fighting against Him. If we are living contrary to His Way, our requests to Him are nonsense.
Our Heavenly Father has shown His Way, which alone is Truth and brings Life.
Your Life Matters!
Choose Truth. Choose Life.
