Sidetracked
I was halfway through my first email of the day before I realized today was blog day! I'm 241 days into this challenge, forgetting one for a few hours isn't neglect... I was sidetracked :)
A new procedure was performed in Canada this week that is sparking the interest of many CRPS Warriors. The new "Proclaim- DRG Neurostimulator System" has been implanted by Dr. Antonios El Helou at The Horizon's Moncton Hospital. This news had me spending the evening and morning researching, I am amazed with technology today. Rechargeable batteries and smart technology enables updates without additional surgeries.

Otherwise, I am proud to say that it is Wednesday and so far I have pushed to go to work everyday this week for my 2.5 hour shifts (except 45 minutes). Sounds minor to most people, but I have CRPS-Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in my legs and arm, Fibromyalgia for the rest of my body, Scoliosis, Herniated Discs and Pinched nerves forking everything in between. I stop medicating 4 hours prior to my shift and I walk to work to arrive in a bright and loud call center. People with neurological issues understand sensitivity to sounds and lights. I conquered that all week so far.
-I don't know who created that Hashtag, but it is SO my groove today :)
I even set aside some time last night to get back to crafting a bit so I can update my shop more soon :) Little things and little steps at a time, it all adds up :) <3
Short and sweet, I have to get back to my emails. May today be a great day, filled with many reasons to smile and lots of laughter <3 Laughter is the best medicine and luckily, it is contagious :)
