Most of the bacon sold around the world is provided by Tican - from pigs that have grown up on Danish farms and bacon is one of the largest export products of Denmark and was once the largest.
Bacon is lightly salted, smoked pork side or back of young pigs and there are numerous uses of bacon: As a topping (on pâté, meatloaf, pizza, etc.), in stews, in burgers around other meats (sausage in casing, tournedos, etc.). It can be eaten raw, semi-raw, roasted and dry roasted. Dry roast is preferred for example in the brunch eggs and bacon.

But we must also have a typical Danish dish homemade by me aka "the great dane"
Here we are talking oven roasted pork tenderloin rolled in danish bacon with oven roasted potato slices.

YOU NEED:
- 500-600 gram tenderloin
- 300-400 grams Danish bacon
- 1 kilo potatoes
- 2-3 carrots
- 1 onion salt
- pepper
- 2-3 bay leaves
- a Danish Tuborg beer
- a cup of water
What do I do
- wrap the tenderloin in bacon and place it in the middle of an ovenproof dish
- slice potatoes, carrots and onion mix it up and fill around the tenderloin
- ( not necessary ) drop a few bay leaves and some lavender if you want
- pour half a beer in dish and drink the other half and pour a little water in, it should not cover but be approximately 2-2.5 cm into the bottom of the dish
- season with salt and pepper
- insert the dish in a preheated oven about = 210 degrees Celsius 410 degrees Fahrenheit about 30-40 minutes
if all the liquid evaporates, add a little water
Served with a cold Danish Tuborg beer
Well done.
thanks :)
