Going on a Road Trip With My Best Friend aka My Dad
My dad has always been my best friend and we used to have time to go to movies and supper all the time. But now his work has become very busy and we have very little time to spend together, just the two of us.
But when I heard he needed to travel for work I told him I would go with him and keep him company. He is very excited and so am I. As tradition I was told to bring my swimming bathing suit because "the pool at the hotel is great."
One of the reasons I love my dad is no matter how hard he works, he is still a kid inside who gets excited about going swimming in a hotel pool. One time I forgot my bathing suit, and he took me to the nearest store and helped me pick one out so we could go swimming after supper.
So for now I am very happy and excited.
Off we go for an adventure! 6 hours of driving ahead of us!

Dad's are awesome! My dad is retired, but he wakes up every morning at 5:30 am to take me to work. Sometimes he is a test for my patience and sanity, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
