Where Have I Been?

Steemit - it has been a while.

So where have I been? Well, nowhere in particular. I've been neck deep in research related work for a few weeks and applying for jobs I'm not sure I want. Anyhow, I'm excited to share my research with you, the Steemit community, and I will be doing so very soon.

My research is focused around modeling what happens to a population who is at risk of contracting a disease when their care is taken away from them. I was able to identify certain parameter thresholds that would mitigate an endemic and furthermore, I was able to estimate the financial impact such an outbreak would have on the community. Interestingly, slight variations of the model can describe other, less morbid, aspects of population dynamics.
