Solar Eclipse of 2017 seen from Portugal
Hi, I'm Francisco and I like to travel!
I had a different perspective of the Eclipse than most people.
A Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth and fully or partially blocks the Sun. The Solar Eclipse of 2017 was total in North America but here in Portugal we were lucky enough to one of the few countries in Europe that was also able to watch this amazing natural event. Although it was not total (only 16% of Sun was covered) it still was beautiful to watch, specially since it was exactly at sunset hour! The next Solar Eclipse will be in 2019 but will only affect the South Pacific and South America. Here are some of the pictures I took to remember this date!
