What Happens When You Begin To Value Yourself?
My twenty plus years in the corporate world taught me about business and people. The last 20 plus months has taught me about myself.
In the last two years I have learnt so much more about myself. How creative I can be, how brave I am, how resilient I am, what I can do, and most importantly appreciating the value that I have. I have pushed myself way beyond my comfort zone. I’ve become an NLP Practitioner and have set up a business specialising in career coaching, employability and personal development. I have become empowered and I am now empowering others.
I’ve learnt that when you value yourself, and this personal value shines through, others will value what you offer.
I’ve had to start again in my career over the last two years, to build my brand. Previously my work had always done the talking for me, and as someone who has not in the past enjoyed being the focus of attention, this suited me well. I have now had to start talking to new people about me, my value offer and my experience. It’s forced me to begin to celebrate more who I am, what I have done, and what I will do. I truly love where I am and the opportunities for personal growth it is giving me. I’m looking forward to the many positive challenges to come, to having the freedom to be me and to share this journey with others, helping them to become more empowered and to realise their true potential.
