What Is Your Gift or Talent?
What Is Your Gift or Talent?
Psalm 37:25 KJV “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed (children or descendants) begging bread.”
If we want to get something without an effort or something for free that is violating a principle. That’s why God doesn’t like beggars. A beggar wants something without an effort. David speaks about how he has not seen the righteous forsaken or his children beg for bread. Notice the condition “righteous” and righteous mean standing in line or in the right position with the law or principle. A beggar is not a worker. The first command God gave a man (plural) is to work (become yourself), according to Genesis 2:15. So, work is not a curse. The curse is in Genesis 3.
With God all things are possible. Imagine having the money and all the resources you need. What would you do?
Here are some (3) ways to find out what our gifts are? First, what makes you angry? Whatever makes us angry is a sign and we were born to change. We will never change, what we can tolerate? So, don’t look for a job, look for what angers you, like Jesus? Secondly, what would you do without compensation? Whatever we do without getting paid and still be content and happy is our gift. That’s why people are poor. They always want to get paid for everything. Those who found their gift, they have the passion for it. And last, what do you think about when you are alone? When we really get quiet all by ourselves. When our gifts, starts to have a conversation with us. Listen to your gift. Take a walk in the park by yourself. You and God. Remember, our gift is where our wealth is.
We have a choice to become (work) something. Therefore, find your purpose, potential, discover your passion, live by the principles, create a plan, be with the right people to influence you to reach your destiny, be persistent and persevere at all times. Fight for your way to success and pray at all times. God bless you!
