No one can push you except your push yourself
One of the hardest truths you have to face when it comes to being the change you want to see in the world is that sometimes, you've to do it alone in the beginning.
I want to add value to others. I want to help people out the little way I can without holding them to ransom. I want to help out not for my selfish reasons but because it is the right thing to do.

But then, it is difficult to help someone who is not ready to themselves. It's difficult to help you if you're not ready to put in the work that is required from your end. I can't help you if you don't want to help yourself. Nothing good comes easy.
I had a short but insightful conversation with my brother yesterday.
I remember asking him to take some actions that will help him. I've been on his neck since January, 2018 to do these things but he has been dragging his feet on the ground.
In my usual self, I asked him again yesterday. His response didn't break my heart, instead it gave me an insight into how humans are generally.
It's possible for people to know that taking some certain steps and actions will change their lives for the better. But for reasons best known to them, they just refuse to find the motivation to take these actions.
That's the case with my brother. I didn't really push him after his explanation. I just said "alright".
My brother is not the only person who is guilty of this. I know a lot of people who are guilty of this as well. Most people prefer to attend motivational conferences and talk shows than put in the work that is required of them.
If you don't push yourself. No one can push you. It doesn't matter if you pay thousand of dollars for a motivational course or seminar or whatever. It doesn't matter if you listen to all the motivational podcasts out there.
Only you can motivate yourself to be a better you. Get up and work. That's the only way to get results.
