1. Mutual Forgiving Between Two Different Cultures
May 2014, New York Times photographer Peter Hiogo started a photo-taking project in Rwanda to demonstrate a pardon between Hutus and Tutsis-the two different cultures were involved in the 1994 Rwandan crime genocide that killed millions of lives.
In the photo, members of the two different cultures stand together, they are Francine Mukagasam and Oliver Habyarimana. The photo depicts the story of forgiveness and how the lesson of life to forgive is now completely intertwined.
