Streets of this town are too small for such a big event

East Europe, Slavonia,small town Vukovar.Almost 30 years ago, the the town was totally destroyed in war.Lots of people lost their lives in the battle that least over 3 months.The town was besieged.The citizen were in their basement.Shells and bombs were falling like rain.

Every year in November people gather and walk in procession.This event is visited by many people and tourist and each year is bigger and bigger.Over 120 000 poeople visited Vukovar this year.The streets were filled with people.The procession was repeatly stopped.The town infrastructure is not adjusted for so many people at the same time.All rooms and apartments are busy.

After horrible battle in 1991, Vukovar is slowly renewed and the life is back.The town is placed on river Danube,which is a border beetween Croatia and  Serbia.
