TEMPERAMENTS---Do you know yours?
Our temperaments affect our behavior and the knowledge of it enhances our psychology as we are able to know our strengths (sharpen our assets) and weakness (to improve on ourselves).
Humanly speaking, there is no other influence in one's life more powerful than your temperaments. Basically, temperaments influence everything that we do from sleep habits to study habits to eating style to the way you get along (socialize) with other people.
It is essential to know your temperament as well as being able to analyze other people's temperaments, not to condemn them but in order to understand and maximize your connection with them. In other to fully comprehend what this write up entails, I'll give a brief description of what temperament is about, in case you are just hearing the word for the first time.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary,
“Temperament is the peculiar or distinguishing mental or physical character determined by the relative proportions of the humor according to medieval physiology. i.e., it is the usual attitude, mood or behavior of a person.”
"Or simply put, it is a characteristic or habitual inclination.”
Basically, temperaments refer to habits we exhibit or the way we respond to certain things. It is safe to say that some temperaments are inherited from our parents, others can be seen to relate to our zodiac sign and these traits are largely responsible for one's actions, reactions, emotional responses and to a large extent, everything we do.
Most people are completely unaware of this extremely powerful force that influences their behavior. Consequently, instead of cooperating with it and using it, they conflict with their inner power and often try to make something of themselves that they never intended to be, and this limits them personally.
