Hello beautiful Souls!

So, I just had my birthday on thursday and thought I'd share some of the fun from this birthday weekend. There's been a lot of hardship emotionally and financially the last few years so I never really put any thought towards my birthdays, other than being thankful that I've been graced and blessed with another year of being on this earth.
This pic may give you a clue of what the day is going to consist of...

My birthday is a time of bitter sweet for me. Many wonderful memories from childhood to present. It's also the anniversary of my dearly loved momma becoming an angel too, which happens to be a couple days after my birthday and fairly recent. My dearly loved dad became an angel couple years prior to my mom. This was the time of year we always made wine in our basement when growing up, so local winery hopping was fitting and a way to appreciate my upbringing, enjoy some vino and have some laughs. The pic below definitely brought me back!

What an operation, my dad would have loved this. My sister and I chuckled at the size of this operation compared to what we had growing up. We had quite the production I thought lol...apparently not, this was amazing! Here they're crushing the Pinot Noir grapes like the first picture. We walked the vineyard enjoying the surroundings in between the rain showers.

OOOPS...

Got busted trying to sample some Pinot Noir grapes off the vine! What can I say I'm more of a fresh grape gal. I think I'm all graped up..look at my hair, it turned purple!! LOL

My sister, family friend and I. Hey...where are those darn spouts, anyone have a straw? Aren't we a barrel of laughs!!

The last winery we went to had saddles for their stools...OMG they had no idea what they were in for with 4 women gone wild, we had a hoot entertaining everyone around lol! The decor was brilliant and creative and laid back. Ummmm, I think my horse is broken? It was one of those "you had to be there" moments...hilarious! We definitely got some laughs.

Gettin my cowgirl on! At this point we were ready to saddle up and head home. It was a fantastic day and I'm thankful I was brought into this existence amongst beautiful souls.
