The Most Unique Animals Of Planet Earth 🦋🌏 | Part II
"Animals are born who they are, accept it, and that is that. They live with greater peace than people do." ― Gregory Maguire
A little less than a week ago I decided to post six of the most unique animals of planet earth. After so many positive responses I decided to share the second part with you. But before I start I want to mention that it´s not about being pretty, having a nice fur or beautiful colors. Every animal is special just like every human! They have the power to speak a language through their eyes which even we as a human can understand. They live in such a peace accept each other no matter what. Of course it is a rough world out there. Eat or be eaten. But this is the most important point, They fight for their lives, they kill be to alive. People murder and hate for no reason. Animals are such a gift on this planet and we should appreciate every single one of them. Respect is also a big thing just because some creatures were created smaller than us doesnt allow us to kill them. It´s still okay - eat or be eaten but please dont kill for fun!
Anyway, this was just a little reminder that we should appreciate more! We should appreciate the plants, animals, beautiful flowers, natural phenomena and actually nature in general.
Before I am going to introduce you to some of the most unique animals of planet earth, I want you to take a moment, close your eyes, take a deep breath and appreciate everything you have.
After you´ve done this, you can continue reading my interpretation of beautiful creatures on this planet if you want to.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Dumbo Octopus
Yes it´s real! It looks kind of similar like Pikachu from Pokémon right? This underwater creature got it´s name "Dumbo" because of the "elephant" shaped ears. The deep sea animals of the genus Grimpoteuthis are “bathyal creatures” which means they life in some of the deepest depths of the ocean. 9,800 and 23,000 feet (3000-7000m!). Since these octopuses live far beyond reachable depths, its difficult for scientists to observe the dumbo octopus.
2. Pink Fairy Armadillo
This little beauty looks very special and cute at the same time. The pink fairy armadillo is the smallest species of the armadillo family. They have tiny eyes, silky yellowish fur and a flexible dorsal shell which is attached to it´s body. The desert-adapted animal is native Argentine.
3. Okapi
Look at those legs, you might think that the Okapi is related to Zebras right? But take a further look to it´s head. The Okapi is actually the only relative of the giraffes. This unique animal has large, upright ears just like a giraffe to catch even slights sounds to safe the animal for trouble. It´s is very hard to find the Okapi in wild world. They usually live in the Ituri Forest. The funny thing about them is, that scientists havent known about Okapi´s until 1900. It is believed that only 25,000 Okapis live in this wild. But we havent any prove because these animals ran away when they hear sounds of a human.
4. Japanese Spider Crab
This one is actually very scary to at. The Japanese spider crab (タカアシガニ takaashigani, lit. "tall-legged crab") lives in the waters around Japan. It has the largest leg span of the arthropod which reached more than 18 feet (5.5 metres) and they weigh up to 19 kilograms!
5. Axolotl
Is it the second Pokémon mentioning in this post No, it´s not. The axolotl is most known as the Mexican salamander. In my opinion it´s one of the sweetest creatures under water. The tiger salamander isn´t really a fish, it´s an amphibian living in numerous lakes underlying Mexico City.
6. Superb Bird of Paradise
Let me end this episode with the superb bird of paradise. Have you ever seen a bird like this before ? The adult male average will be up to 26 cm long and the female instead just 1cm shorter which means they will be 25cm. If you look at this species it´s born with jet black and electric blue feathers in the middle. They are found in the tropical rainforests of south-east Asia. This dance which I am going to show you is created my the male birds to attract females.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These unique beings are beyond beautiful. They have so many different features but are still special in their own ways. It makes me sad that many species are threatened with extinction. I know we cant safe everyone but we can make earth a better place. Seeing some of those individuals living there where humans cant find them makes me really happy. This makes me realizing how beautiful life can be.

That was pretty cool! The Japanese spider crab, who knew a crab like creature could grow that big! Other than in Moana. lol
and the Okapi are pretty cool too. Never new there was a relative to the giraffe.
