My Doggy Turns 9 Years Old Today!
I have the coolest dog ever because she was born on May 4th nine years ago, Star Wars Day!
May the 4th be with you, my friends!
She was so little when I first got her from a friend that ran a dog rescue in North Carolina but she was such a smart, cuddly puppy that had such a wonderful personality from the very beginning.
If you want the truth, this dog has been with me through everything and I kinda treat her like my own child because she is just awesome. It's weird that she knows when I am upset or when I just need some hugs.
Having dogs is an incredible experience, these two pups are pretty much my spirit animals, as strange as that may sound.
When I travel, I take them with me and they are always so good with the exception of not liking cats and wanting to chase squirrels. She snores like a small truck driver but you get used to it if you sleep in the same room with this dog haha. And if she trusts you and is willing to take a treat from you then she loves peanut butter and rolled up lunch meat.
She is my protector, no one can come anywhere near me when she is around unless I call her off. And she protects my friends and family too. She is great around kids and loves to play. We all joke that she is our babysitter because she keeps the little ones entertained for hours and then takes naps with them.
My girl makes me believe in reincarnation and makes me think that she used to be human because I swear she understands every word that we say to her and listens intently until we are done talking to her. Am I the only one that talks to my dog like she's going to talk back to me? I hope not!
Anyway thanks for reading and I would for you to share your fur babies if you want to!
I love dogs! I gave you a bunch of upvotes on your posts. Post some more dog pictures.
Thanks for that! I will take more pictures and share them just for you.

Yup I too have 4 furry kids, 2 of which are only 4 months old and man they are a handful. I dont know who wore me down more, my actual kids or my furry kids at the same age. But at the end of the day, you tend to love them all and can not see not having them all in your life. Sadly my furry kids listen better than my son and daughters lol
Oh my goodness! They are SO CUTE! Dogs can be such a handful sometimes, I totally agree. I swear they talk about how to cause trouble for that day before I wake up haha. But, chasing them around brings such joy to my days. I appreciate that you shared your babies, they are adorable.

Congratulations. Happy birthday (I could notbmake out her name in the post) but
Happy dogs make me happy.
Kira was/is my guardian even today
I don't think I mentioned her name in this post, it's Betty Boop :)
They are very happy dogs, I am so very lucky to have them both in my life.
Kira is a beautiful name, I believe that our animal friends stay with us to love on us even after they have left our physical sight. That thought comforts me.

She was my sister, my daughter, my companion... and she proved me "love lasts forever"
I dedicated my first album to her with an instrumental "Now that you're gone" in my second I was already able to dedicate her a proper song "Good Night Kira" It took me countless trials to be able to sing it on stage without crying but now all I remember is the warmth of her persence, the smiles she gave me... I'm grateful.
Beautiful picture! Kira looks like a very happy girl in this photo :)
Betty is cuddly like that... my other dog, Joe, is more like a cat... he comes to get attention when he wants it and then he wants to be left alone. Love can last forever, that's true. That's incredible that you are able to honor her memory like that by sharing her with others through your music. I would cry too! I'm a crier, I cry during most emotional situations. I appreciate that you have shared Kira, beautiful dog!
