80 years of Harvard study reveals secret to happiness

In tracing the life of 724 man categorized into 2 groups, one of 268 male graduates from Harvard's class who finished collage serving the world and another of 456 poor man as well as dropouts from collage interesting fact was found. They were interviewed, medical exams were taken and many more processes were carried out, according to psychiatrist Robot Waldinger, the director of study also psychiatrist at Massachusetts general hospital and professor of psychiatry at Harvard medical school says true happiness cannot just only be bought with money, name, fame, technology, leadership rather it can be found in simple things which was shown by this study.

Three big lessons from the study are , social Connections those people who are socially connected with friends, family and community are internally much more happier than those who are not connected. Those people who are isolated tend to be less happy in comparison to those people who are not connected with each other. So we must invest our energy and time in forming social connections to remain at peace and be happy. Second most important thing is that the quality of relationship matters the most. Warm relationship are protective and bad relationship is slow poison and kills our physical, mental and emotional health. So, we must make quality relationship with at least few people whom we can really count on. Last but not the least our brain remains healthy, memory becomes sharper if we do so.

All the relationships are not smooth all the time but we must try to fix good ones and know when to let go of the bad ones and we can be happy.
