You have to be that element of support. Support her in daily chores. Do not feel any work to be meant for girls- if she can do it you too can. Participate in every work at home.

Listener: Be a good listener and listen with the mind, not the ear. Don't just be physically present nodding on the talking. Listen carefully and participate in the conversation. Take her advice and value those. If you don't like those discuss and pursue. Don't just say 'NO' and ignore her. Ladies hate to be ignored.

Unpredictable: Be unpredictable and keep on giving surprises to her - they just love it. Be funny at times, bring her something while returning home. Give time: Believe it or not this is something which has been around for a long time and girls just imagine that their husbands are not giving them enough time. Don't allow them to feel so. Wherever possible take them with you. Remember she has become the biggest element in your life now - take time out from all shits you used to do earlier and spend those time with her.

Now, girls, you must have given a lot of good thought to your husbands but remember they are human too and have certain requirements. Most men go into a stage of shock after marriage because they just cannot figure out how to deal with your rules. So, be gentle with them and understand their feelings. Don't Nag: Nagging is the most hated element in a woman's character. Trust me, all woman have this problem. Stop nagging or else your husband will feel that you are never happy with him. He will stop loving you and might react strangely in some other issue. You should not keep on complaining all the time and expect your husband to love him. He is sure not to do that. Value and appreciate what he is and how he is.

Don't Compare: Don't compare him with others - your brothers, friends, his brothers, friends. Remember every person is different living in a different situation. They all want to do well and comparing them with others will only make them feel small. Soon they will lose all interest in doing good and your husband will not be the same.

Give Space: Remember one thing - every person has a personal life. Giving space is a mutual act. Allow your husband to mix with family, friends, hobbies, and interests. Let him miss you. This will only increase your love and you will be able to carry on for ever. In return, you too utilize your space and let him miss you. Trust me this occasional drift will double your love.

Share interest: You might feel his football or politics sucks but participate in those. Watch the games together and trust me he will also watch your favorite movie with you. Keep your Identity: Remember, when both of you loved each other you were not married. Keep that individual living because that attracted him. Also, let him keep his identity that you once loved so much. Don't just create two new individuals who never loved each other. Growing old together is fun when both of you keeps your individual identity.
