Brand Piracy on T-shirt; hiding poverty appears richly

These are my friend who are on steemit, all of them are Acehnese who use #aceh tag on their posts on steemit.

Each of them wear t-shirt with branded brand design, but all of them admitted that their t-shirt was using a pirated brand.

Brand hijacking is commonly happen in developing countries, especially in Indonesia. Many less fortunate people buy t-shirt with hijacked brand just to be stylish or to be look like a rich man. As Acehnese proverb says "Som Gasien peulumah kaya, peugah haba luwa nanggroe, sikat igoe taloe tima" or in English we can say "hiding poverty appears richly".

That is the life reality in developing countries.
