A lesson in Social Sites - ASS01_Nothing matters
In my life I had a couple times when i was down and viewing the world really negatively and depressed. and I liked it.
in 2013, i decided that i want to leave all SS platforms for the benefit of me and promote that everyone else does so too.
i made a series of posts and links to explain and justify this notion, and i did leave FB and YT and the others for 2-3months or so, then my life and understanding turned around.
so here i'm about the sare day by day what i posted 5 years ago, as a lesson for all who are in the sinkhole, or who are in the top and want to practice EMPATHY for those who are down. it will contain external links which i felt represent my feelings/thoughts so yeah, not that original content.
I'm posting them here for recordkeeping also, so enjoy this time capsule!
1st of 18days...the expression of "nothing matters"
this series of post will show the reasoning and events leading up to me leaving social sites of today...enjoy and learn.
Nothing matters because of the saturation of the platform, and the lackluster readings of recipients. i had and still hgave 500+"friends" on FB and 600+subscriptions that i follow on YT, and this was a day of realisation that anything i put up, is NOT viewed by much, so the efforts of communication is lost in the transmission, so it is in a way a one way communication of talking to the while wall of the internet, so nothing matters unless it's viral. it does not have an impact.
today i already know that this is a false assumption. it has a minute effect, yet when applied consistently, it does wash away the rock in the side of the river.
this is also what delayed gratification means, one has to apply it over and over again with belief and effort and one day after a long while, will see the product of all those times.
Enjoy!

this point means that the userbase of social sites are HUGE and I even considered that only 20-40% of the actual population is on these sites, on person cannot keep contact with all, in a decent way.
it also expresses the amount of useless material people post, and how no post matters because it fades in the vast amount of posts unless you have a very limited amount of "friends".
it also expresses the attitude people "browse" FB and other sites...just scrolling across people's lives, sometimes stopping sometimes not and nothing really matters just that we know about them...
and lastly it expresses that it doesn't matter how manny comments posts personal chats or like or shares i do/get people who are related to these do not actually take the effort and time to consider, or investigate or change based on what i did, thus it's time spent wasted.
