Have a good plan in life

You cannot achieve what you have not defined. You can’t reach a destination you have not set. You will never hit a target you have not identified. What will success signify to you this year and beyond? A decade from today, what will your cumulative success look like? Success must be clearly defined in your own terms or words based on your own life vision and aspirations. You are a unique person and there is no one on earth with a mind like yours. 

No one has an identical set of talents, skills, desires, ambitions as you do. You cannot therefore define your success based on what your neighbor or colleague is doing or has achieved. Yes, get inspiration from those you admire, but their success can hardly and should not define your success. Success means different things to different people for instance to a teacher, it might mean assisting students learn and pass exams, to a preacher, it might mean leading people to repentance. But in general terms success is discovering and becoming the real or original you. It is discovering the who in you. It is doing what were designed to do: achieving your God-given objective and having a blast while doing it. Success is the progressive pursuit and realization of a worthwhile dream or vision in life. It is realizing your potential and letting the world to benefit from. It is living a life richer than just focusing on your own personal survivor.
