Circus life in the U.K.

So, it’s a beautiful day, sun is shining & we are in a little village, Elmstt, just outside of Ipswich, England. The circus tent is up & ready to rock! It’s Wednesday morning & everyone is mulling around gradually getting ready for tonight’s 6 o’clock show.

It’s just a little circus tent but we all think it’s fab!
We are in week 2 of a 4 week tour, just a short tour to round off the summer.
There’s a school assembly in the tent for a wee taster & as a thank you, as we are pitched up on their playing field.

Circus Petite is a group of currently 9, who do all aspects of a travelling circus.

On this tour we have a quick change act from Hungary called Duo Starlight, they are ace!
Nula Hula a hula hoop act, Justo the clown, David Bean, owner & Ring Master, Daniel Bean, owner, Magician & devil sticks, Dominic, fast juggler & Ashlee & me, Captain Rumbucket, whip cracking & fire acts. Oh & Falco, Ashlee’s dog!

Life is quite mellow camped in a field round our little top, playing with toys, helping each other with our performance skills & enjoying each other’s company. Even occasionally having a drink in the pub across the road.

I love it!
