Take the good with the bad

As we are about to farewell yet another year, 2017 has been anything but dull!!

Personally there has been tragedy and loss through the deaths of family members and friends loved ones, which has lead my to write this post. Last night in the early hours, my dear uncle peacefully passed away. He was very sick in the end and this, as difficult as it is, is for the best as he is at peace now. We also lost several other relatives and some loved ones in our friends families. Point being, as tough as it seems when you are going through challenging times, it's easy to become down and sad.
The year also brought much joy in the birth of several babies through my dear friends that i ether knew through work, social media and school. It has been very exciting for them, one gave birth to twin girls!
The main point of this is to give hope to anyone reading this who may be going through loss and sadness, there is always hope just around the corner. The old saying, the night is always darkest just before the dawn. Being on the cusp of yet another new year can bring great uncertainty,doubt and negativity but also great excitement and optimism and hope for what may come! There are many emotions this time of year,so keep your chin up and if you see someone down and struggling don't be shy to lend them a helping hand, you never know how much they will appreciate it!!
