efforts and not excuses
This is from my school reunion album.
How valid a saying this is. Efforts help bring in success. Those who are lazy and not competent are always trying to put forth lame excuses.
Excuses are easy to make. A lie will do the trick. For example, I am supposed to write a post on health. I am too lazy and spend my time watching television. Time is wasted and the deadline is up.
I make an excuse that I have a headache. A harmless lie but what if I do this all the time. I will be ultimately affected by it and not others.
Efforts help you master your skills. Practice whatever you are trying to do, even if you think you are not good at it. in due time, you will be able to perfect the trade.
Have you felt that you are not getting your due?
Many of us feel that way. It is easy to get discouraged and let go. So many people try to end the life because of such discouragement. If ever you come across such a person among your family or friends, please do not fuel the fire. Instead, give them encouragement and try to point out their positive traits so that they are forced to think positively of themselves.
Whatever happens, do not give up - learn from the spider which keeps on building webs or the ant which keeps on gathering food or the bee which collects honey all the time. Nature has a lot of lessons for us.
Are you complaining that you do not have the latest gadget?
Think of children in some countries who do not have access to good food or clean water and you shall be grateful that you have a roof above your head, hot food, clean water and a comfortable bed to sleep on. We are blessed indeed to have the things we have.
Sounds cliche? It can never be repeated enough times

Good motivating post. I'm a bee lover basically. I admire bees a lot. There are lots of lessons to be learnt from bees. They work for others. They don't care about their life. Especially during summer when it is season for them to collect honey, they work to death. They are not going to take anything for them. They just do the work without expecting anything back. Sometimes I feel we should also be like that. One day something good will definitely happen. We should also continue what we are doing even if nothing happens.
