65 Days Into The Year 2018, Are You Still On Track?

Hello Steemians, we are 65 days into the year 2018 already, today marks it, and I felt it's worthwhile to remind us all of our various commitments (goals and resolutions) most of us made at the turn of the year and how far are we in the process, and to ask ourselves this question: Am I still on track?
We have approximately 365 days in a calendar year, and from today, we begin to count down to the remaining 300 days left. It's a normal practice among many people (including myself) to assess at the end of every year, how things have gone. Were goals achieved? Were targets reached? Did I stop this by bad habit? How have practiced this other virtue? and many such questions. After this comes decisions and resolutions taken to ensure that the new year would be a 'different' year, but statistics have shown that it takes only about 30 days to lose motivation, dump these resolutions aside and revert, even unknowingly, to our former way of doing things.
One reason for this, from experience, is the failure to keep ourselves accountable every single day - daily stock taking. Like I said in my previous post: days make up years, and to have a fulfilling year, we must ensure to make each day fulfilling. So consistently work towards your goals on a day to day basis, tracking your progress at the end of the day, and by the end of the year, you will have no regrets.

So on a day like today, the 65th day of the year, ask yourself: am I still on track? What were my resolutions? Am I working towards them daily? Do I take stock of myself daily? If yes, more power to your elbow; if no, it's never too late. There are still 300 days to go and many things can be achieved between now and the end of the year, so stand up and move on!
