Why you should stay in school
A lot of people, including some of my friends are of the opinion that school is useless. They look at succesful people who thrived by dropping out of school and starting their businness, while this can be a good idea for some of us for most people dropping out of school is a really bad idea and will make you regret it dearly.
Here are 2 reasons why:
- Security
School provides a bit of certainty for the future, life is easier with a good education and a degree, because when you drop out of school, start a businnes and it fails you'll be in a bad place. If you decide to keep on going with you education you can still become an entrepeneur but if that fails there is a much higher chance of you landing a decent paid job somewhere with a degree, you have a backup plan of sorts. If you drop out you'll most likely not be hired at most jobs.
- Friends and free time
Although school might seem like a drag, I know it can. It does provide you with an opportunity to see your friends often and do fun things. I know people who dropped out of school, then just do nothing all day. With sadness I see them waste time of their lives, they start drinking, doing drugs and hanging out with the wrong people. This doesn't apply for everyone but I've seen people take the wrong turns in life because they dropped out of school.
Please don't drop out of school, I wrote this article because I've seen some people waste their lives and opportunities because of it!
